What You Get With the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition

However, Rockstar has clarified that these bonuses are “threaded” throughout the game and “uncovered behind each chapter,” not handed to you on day one.
Is the Extra $20 Actually Worth It?
According to Sensor Tower data, 88.5 percent of PlayStation pre-orders and 90 percent of Xbox pre-orders have gone for the Ultimate Edition—a staggering figure compared to the typical 10 to 20 percent premium-edition split. Yet Karl Kontus, Sensor Tower’s SVP and GM of Video Game Insights, expects that ratio to shift “much closer to 50/50” once casual buyers arrive nearer to the November launch.
The real kicker: there’s no rush. Unlike past premium editions—Starfield‘s Premium Edition offered five days’ early access, and Diablo IV’s offered four—everyone gets access to GTA 6 at the same time. You can buy the Standard Edition now and upgrade to the Ultimate Edition after release if you decide the extra shops and missions are worth it. Since GTA rewards you with unlocks, earnings, and purchases as you play anyway, a fancier garage on day one won’t make much difference.
