Lenovo has unveiled two new flagship Lenovo Yoga Android tablets launching this month, both packing 4K displays, the latest processors, and a commitment to seven years of software support that sets a new bar for the category.
The tablets were announced at Innovation World during IFA, with Lenovo Yoga Android tablets arriving in two sizes to suit different needs. The standard Yoga Tab Gen 2 features an 11.1-inch 4K display, while the Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 steps up to a 13-inch 4K screen. Both ship with Android 17 out of the box and promise updates “through Android 24, as well as up to seven years of security updates through 2033.”

The two models differ in their core components and design refinements. The standard model pairs a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB (plus microSD expansion). The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 upgrades to a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and offers up to 16GB of RAM with 512GB of storage, also supporting microSD cards. Both tablets are impressively thin—the standard model measures 8.56mm, while the Plus variant comes in at 8.27mm thick.

Software and Accessories
Both tablets ship with Lenovo‘s AI suite and support for the Tab Pen Pro 2 stylus, which adds gesture controls including Squeeze to Create, Double Tap, Click pen tail to Draw, Double-click pen tail to Record, and Flip to Erase. A decorative status LED on the back of each tablet can sync with music, videos, and games—a subtle touch that complements the overall design. The Plus model includes a one-step magnetic keyboard clamshell, while both tablets come with keyboard support.
