A notable discount has landed on one of Apple‘s higher-end 14-inch MacBook Pro configurations, with this MacBook Pro M5 Pro deal cutting the price of the model with 24GB of unified memory and a 2TB SSD down to $2,399 on Amazon, a $600 reduction. The offer currently applies only to the Space Black color option, and there is no word on when it will end.
What makes this MacBook Pro M5 Pro deal stand out
This configuration stands out because of Apple’s new Fusion Architecture, which lets the M5 Pro chip pack in more CPU cores for noticeably higher single-core and multi-core performance. That means shoppers no longer need to pay a premium for the M5 Max version just to get a meaningful performance jump. The chip is paired with a 16-core GPU capable of handling gaming as well as demanding creative work like video editing, software development, and music production, while the 24GB of unified memory is enough to run some AI models locally without strain.
Beyond the chip, this MacBook Pro M5 Pro deal includes a 14-inch body with a unibody aluminum chassis and a Liquid Retina XDR display that uses mini-LED technology for vivid colors. In a related development, Samsung Galaxy S26 FE vs S25 FE: Explaining the $50 Price Increase looked at how device pricing has shifted elsewhere in the industry, a reminder that discounts like this one on Apple’s lineup are not the norm.
Shipping, returns, and extras
Delivery is free, with an estimated arrival between October 20 and 21, and returns are free within 15 days. Buyers also get up to three free months of Apple Arcade, Fitness+, and News+. Apple rarely cuts $600 off an M5 Pro MacBook Pro, so this is a bigger-than-usual price drop for anyone eyeing an upgrade. As with other hardware news this week, including Motorola Previews Android 15 Update and New Themed Icons, it shows how quickly pricing and specs can shift across the tech industry, giving shoppers more reasons to compare before buying.
