OpenAI has released Astra, its latest and most capable AI model to date. When asked whether Astra represented the arrival of AGI (artificial general intelligence), Brockman clarified that “there’s no contractual AGI triggering anymore,” referring to OpenAI’s former partnership stipulation with Microsoft.
